5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) merupakan band rock asal Sydney, Australia yang dibentuk pada tahun 2011. 5 Seconds of Summer beranggotakan empat orang: Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, Ashton Irwin, dan Michael Clifford. Grup ini mengawali popularitasnya di Youtube, mengunggah video musik mereka sendiri berupa lagu-lagu cover dari berbagai artis mulai tahun 2011 sampai awal 2012. Mereka kemudian mendapat popularitas internasional saat melakukan tur dengan One Direction pada Take Me Home Tour
5 Seconds of Summer sering disebut sebagai pop punk band oleh media massa, namun mereka menolak sebutan tersebut dengan mengatakan kalau mereka juga memainkan genre musik selain pop punk. Pada awal 2014, 5 Seconds of Summer merilis "She Looks So Perfect" sebagai single debut mereka yang berhasil menduduki puncak tangga lagu di Australia, Selandia Baru, Inggris dan Irlandia. Debut album studio 5 Seconds of Summer dirilis pada Juni 2014, yang memuncaki posisi pertama di 11 negara lalu diikuti dengan dirilisnya sebuah album live "LIVESOS" pada bulan Desember di tahun yang sama. 5 Seconds of Summer merilis album kedua "Sounds Good Feels Good" pada Oktober 2015.
